What is Ready Mix Concrete ?

Project Image

Ready-mix concrete (RMC) is a type of concrete that is manufactured in a batching plant according to a set recipe or mix design and then delivered to a construction site by truck-mounted transit mixers. The key feature of RMC is that it is prepared in a controlled environment, which ensures consistent quality and reduces variability compared to on-site mixing.

1.Preparation

RMC is prepared in a batching plant where ingredients like cement, aggregates (such as sand, gravel, crushed stone), water, and admixtures are carefully measured and mixed according to a specific recipe. The mixing process is controlled to ensure uniformity and quality.

2.Quality Control

Since RMC is produced in a controlled environment with precise measurements and mixing, it typically has higher quality and consistency compared to concrete mixed on-site. This can lead to improved strength, durability, and overall performance of the concrete.

3.Convenience

Ready-mix concrete offers convenience to construction projects as it can be delivered directly to the construction site in transit mixers. This reduces the need for on-site storage of raw materials and the labor-intensive process of mixing concrete on-site.

4.Time-saving

Using RMC can save time in construction projects since it eliminates the need for on-site batching and mixing, allowing for faster construction progress.

5.Customization

Ready-mix concrete can be customized to meet specific project requirements by adjusting the mix design, such as strength, workability, durability, and other properties.

6.Usage

It is commonly used in various construction applications such as buildings, bridges, roads, dams, foundations, and more, where high-quality concrete with consistent properties is required.

Our Products

We supply concrete from Grade M5 to M80 :

  1. QBOND@ Filling Concrete :
    1.Shortens construction time
    2.Good for backfilling, trench filling
    3.Better structural strength
    4.Environmental benefits
    5.Thermal performance
6.It’s a Plum Concrete as well
  2. QBOND@ High Strength Concrete :
    Benefits:
Can reduce the size of compression elements and the amount of longitudinal reinforcement needed. It can also lead to more usable space inside buildings and a better appearance.
  3. QBOND@ Delay Set Concrete :
    1.Longer retention - up to 8 hours
2.Good for tunnel, chimney works and column and small quantity requirements at traffic restricted area.
  4. QBOND@ Self Compacting Concrete :
Eliminates vibration: SCC doesn't require vibration for compression and placement, which can save time and labor costs, and reduce noise pollution.
Smooth surface: SCC produces a smooth surface level after placement.
Filling ability: SCC can fill spaces of different shapes and sizes without segregation.
Durability: SCC can be more durable and have lower permeability than regular concrete.
  5. QBOND@ Temp Control Concrete :
1.Controls thermal differential cracks in mass concrete
    2.Increases durability of the structure
    3.Enhanced Workability
  6. QBOND@ Fluid Concrete :
    1.Reduces cycle time considerably
    2.High Flowability
    3.Improved Surface Finish
    4.Saves plastering cost and time
  7. QBOND@ PP Fiber Concrete :Polypropylene fiber concrete is a type of concrete that has many benefits. It’s strong against pulling, resistant to impacts, and can resist cracks. The tensile strength of PP fiber is higher than general concrete. However, its elastic modulus is relatively low.
    PP Fiber Serves In:
    1.Highway pavements.
    2.Bridge decks.
    3.Airport runways.
    4.Building floors.
    5.High-rise buildings
  8. QBOND@ Steel Fiber Concrete :
    Application of Fiber-reinforced concrete
    1.Runway
    2.Pavements
    3.Elevated decks
    4.Roads
    5.Warehouse floors
    Advantages
    1.Eliminate the Reinforcement
    2.High tensile strength
3.Reduced cracking are desirable or when conventional reinforcement cannot be placed.
4.It improves the impact strength of concrete, limits the crack growth For industrial projects.
  9. QBOND@ Early Strength Concrete :
Application in flat slabs, prestressed concrete slabs
    1.Large ceilings without beams possible
2.Increases cycle time of slab formwork
3.Early strength concrete can reach structural quantity 72-96 hours.
  10. QBOND@ Light Weight Concrete :
    1.Density 800-1600 Kg/m3
    2.Reduces structural weight
    3.Thermal insulation
    4.Non-Structural concrete strength between 3-5 N/mm2
  11. QBOND@ Decorative Concrete :Art form of concrete with a wide variety of options in textures and colors for finishing that is aesthetic, durable and economical.
Use it for: Accenting your living spaces, including patios, driveways, pool decks, living rooms and lobbies.
  12. QBOND@ Rapid Setting Concrete :
Use it for: Any type of construction that requires quick setting. Framework can be removed just 4 hours after manufacturing, while conventional concrete takes between 12 and 20 hours for setting. Best suited for repairing road surfaces.
